Daughter of Storms

Shar scambled to her feet and stood in the middle of the room, spreading her arms wide. Air; closing her eyes, she imagined open skies, whirling winds, and in her thoughts she reached out to her elemental friends in their strange, inhuman dimension.

The story:
Shar is special. Born during a Warp, she is a Daughter of Storms. Legends say those have the ability to call Warps and use their power to travel.

But Shar is also born during a double eclipse, which makes her a Dark Caller; one that can control the beings of the sixth plane, who owe allegiance to none, not even the gods.

And someone is plotting to use Shar's power for their own gain, and Shar and her two friends, Hestor and Kitto, must find a way to stop them.

Thoughts about the book:
A sweet story about a child with great powers. Not as good as some of her books, but I believe this is a children's book, and it should be read as that.

Worth reading if you want something light.
