She stopped, suddenly realizing she was babbling like a mist-witted
fool. She squared her shoulders and looked the Guardian in the eyes.
"I've come to ask the Oracle for my magic so I can marry the man I
love."
The story:
Dara has travelled far to find the Oracle. Since she has no magic,
there is no way Cav's parents will let her marry him. Especially
since he is the heir to the Caistran throne.
She hopes that the Oracle can help her find the magic she needs. But to find that, she will have to solve the riddles of the Crystal Keep. And when the Guardian of Crystal Keep is as hostile as he is, she needs all the help she can get.
Thoughts about the book:
The story is sweet, and with a few original details. Some of it is
rather predictable, but the book still has a certain charm.
I especially liked the touch of how the castle works, and some of the stories that can be found within.
