A Plague of Angels

The story:

Abasio runs away from his home, and to the city, just like his mother did. Here, he joins one of the gangs, the Purples. Here, also, he hears the stories of how Man went to the stars.

Orphan lives in one of the archetype villages, with Hero, Oracle, Bastard, and other archetypes.

And for years, the Walkers are searching for a young girl with black hair. Where they go, they leave a path of terror, and for some reason, they want Orphan.

Abasio cannot forget the child he saw when he ran away, a small baby who smiled at him and kissed his cheek. And when he escorts a ganger woman to a nearby Oracle, and sees a young woman that he is convinced is the same girl, his life changes, and he becomes involved in a strange story.

Thoughts about the book:

This is a story about humans, about what we do to our world. It is a story with monsters, and heroes, and giants and griffins and even dragons.

But it is also a story about love, and of sacrifice. And most of all, it is the story of the human nature.
