Queen of the Darkness

WARNING!
This is the third book in a trilogy, and reading this review without having read book one and two might spoil some of your fun.

The story:
Witch has come into her true powers. She has made her Offering to the Darkness, and returned with jewels that were darker than Black. And she has now her own Dark Court. But one is still missing.

Her Consort has not yet returned to her, from the Twisted Kingdom. Without him, the triangle of father, brother and lover is not complete. At the same time, Hekatah and Dorothea are plotting to gain control over Witch.

The Blood is tainted by their plots, but to clean it will have a high price, both for Jaenelle and her Consort. For Jaenelle can only see one way to save those she cares for, and that will be at a great cost to herself. And to do that, she also needs the help of Daemon. His help to do something that might make all his friends and family into enemies.

Thoughts about the book:
This is a powerful final of a good series. It is difficult to say more than that, that is not already said. The characters are rich, alive, and a great deal of fun.

The story is good, and the setting is original. I really recommend these books if you haven't read them yet.
