Chapter 3 - Friends and enemies

The Border House

Go into the hallway.
After having spoken to Zack (yes, you have to talk to him again), go to the subway and take it to Hope Street.

Hope Street

Head towards the cathedral you can see behind the subway station.
Head towards the confessionals and talk to the priest standing there.
Exit the cathedral again. Across the street from the subway station, you can see a building with the number 87 on it. Enter it.
Talk to the boy sitting on the stairs.
Exit and head back to the subway, and head to Metro West.

Metro West

Head down the street towards the police station.
On the wreckage, you can see a blinking thing. Examine it.
Look at the fence, and talk to the cop guarding the fence.
Enter the station. Talk to the cop there. He's somewhat entertaining.
Return to the place where you came out from the subway. You'll see a roadblock. First look at the street sign over the two people talking together.
Look at the T-Rex sign above the street sign for the giggles.
Look at the roadblock in front of the container.
Use the panel on the roadblock by the container.
Jump into the container.

The police station reception

Look at the toolbox.
Take the work order you find there.
Look at the left VidPhone.
Talk to the portly fella. Keep asking him questions until you have the information you need.
Talk to the receptionist and ask for a form for "Short-Term Tactical Suspension of Union Member Benefits". (You may need to go back and forth between the two and talk to them a few times.)
Show the work order to the portly fella.
Talk to the receptionist again, and ask for the 09042-A as well.
Show the work order (the new form) to the portly fella. April will automatically fill in the form first.
Look at the right VidPhone. You can call home and talk to your mom if you want.
Use the right VidPhone and call the number you saw on the left VidPhone.
Head over to the portly fella and tell him there's a phone call for him.
Wait until the portly fella is at the VidPhone, then tell the thin fella that there's a phone call for him too.
Play with the the wires.
Look at the shelves behind the receptionist.
Talk to the receptionist again. Ask about the form for complaining about lewd and indecent behaviour.
Play with the wires again.
Go through the door.

Inside the police station

Use your cashcard on the soda machine.
Look at the retinal scanner.
Go through the doorway, into the toilet.
Look at all the locker doors.
Talk to the man in the stall. Yep, poor guy. He's been there for a while. Tell him you're sergeant Hernandez.
Take the key, and use it to open Minelli's locker.
Look at the mirror. There is a loose shard in the lower right corner of it.
Take the shard, and look at the note behind it. Hint: Never use your wife's birthday as a security code.
Take the medicine.
Look at the receptacle. A synthetic eye, hmm...
Give him the medicine.
Talk to him. You want his wife's birthday. Ask about his wife.
Switch off the light with the switch beside his stall.
Swap out his eye with the eye from the toy monkey Guybrush.
Head into the corridor and use Minelli's eye on the retinal scanner.
Enter the archives.
Use the computer.
When you look at Warren Hughes' file, click at the text about his sister to get her colonisation number.
Click 'edit'.
Press 'print'.
Look up Erika's colonisation number, and press 'print'.
Look up the Church of Voltec, then click on Jacob McAllen's name.
Look up Jacob McAllen.
Click 'continue', then take note of the strange symbols at the bottom right of the screen.
Exit the computer screen, and head to the control panel at the bottom of the room.
Remember the symbols you found when you checked out Jacob McAllen? Click the buttons in this order: 11, 16, 1, 8.
Grab the printouts.
Exit the archives, and head back to the reception area.
Grab the screwdriver from the floor close to the toolbox.
Exit the police station and head back to the subway. Now that the doors are fixed, you can leave at the bottom of the screen.

Hope Street

Head back to Hope Street and hand the printouts over to Warren.

The Newport docks

Head up the stairs, towards the construction yard.
Go towards the garage.
Knock three times on the door. You'll have to click once on the door per knock.
Head through the door and down into the pit by the wall to the left.
Talk to Burns Flipper.
Examine the Vanguard folder in your inventory.
Give Burns the datacube.
Talk to Burns again. Ask him to make you a forged ID.
Exit the garage hall.
Look at the machine to the right of the entrance. Use the soda can on it.
Head back to the subway.

Metro West

Go back to the police station.
Give the soda to the cop in front of the wreckage.
When he's left, use the mirror shard on the laser fence.
Take the AG control unit. Use the screwdriver on it to get loose.
Head back to the Newport docks.

The Newport docks

Give the AG control unit to Burns. You'll have to come back later for your papers.
Head back to the subway, and head back to Hope Street.

Hope Street

Head back into the cathedral.
When Cortez and Raul are done talking, head over to Cortez.
Go back to Venice, to the Border House, and April's room.
